Biking home from the station yesterday. Wind-driven freezing rain and slushballs, inch and a half of slush, uphill, after a full day of teaching. Days like this make me proud to be a Minnesotan, and glad for good equipment-- insulating rain pants, rain jacket with down lining, studded front tire. There were some bogus
snow tongues.
